Door-to-door testing for COVID-19 has begun in communities across the United Kingdom in an effort to squash the transmission of a South African variant of the virus. This comes as 11 local cases of the new strain have been detected in five different locations across England. Tests are being offered to everyone aged 16 and over, even if they have already been vaccinated.
