Victoria has reported no new local coronavirus cases from more than 17,000 tests.
The state’s Department of Health on Saturday morning confirmed there were now 25 active cases statewide.
There were also zero new cases reported in hotel quarantine.
It comes after three new local cases were reported on Friday.
All three are close contacts of existing cases and had been quarantining during their infectious period.
Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton warned the state’s battle against the virus “wasn’t over”.
“All known contacts of cases or exposure sites need to stay in quarantine for the full 14 days to wrap this up,” he said.
There are 22 cases linked to the Holiday Inn at Melbourne Airport outbreak.
One of those was admitted to Intensive Care on Friday afternoon.
The Department of Health didn’t provide specifics on their situation and said: “The individual is in a stable condition and we wish them a full recovery.”
The three new local cases on Friday came two days after the five-day lockdown, designed to prevent the spread of the UK variant of the virus, ended.
Victorians mostly returned to the freedoms enjoyed prior to the snap lockdown.
Limitations on gatherings and mandatory masks where distancing is impossible will remain in place.
