South Australia has no new cases of COVID-19 as of Monday, April 27, which is four days in a row with no reported active cases.

The state tally stands at 438 with active cases having reduced to only 23.

Two people are still in critical condition in intensive care at the Royal Adelaide Hospital - a 68-year-old man and 75-year-old man.

The state's death toll stands at four people from the 438 confirmed cases with 411 people (95 per cent) having recovered from the virus.

A total of 52,671 tests have been conducted across the state.

Until 30 April, any South Australian who has a fever or respiratory symptoms consistent with COVID-19, no matter how mild, is encouraged to attend a COVID-19 clinic or their GP, for assessment and testing.

As the testing blitz begins to come to a close people should get tested if they have any symptoms such as sore throat, fever, cough and respiratory ails.

Until September 30, measures have been put in place for pharmacists to supply prescription medicines to South Australians through a digital image-based prescription with special arrangements by health professionals.
