Exposure venues are growing by the day across Victoria, including a major hospital in Melbourne's north-west that is on alert after a COVID positive patient visited the building and a convenience store over four full days.
Joan Kirner Women's and Children's Hospital in Melbourne is one of the latest major venues to be identified as an exposure site.
A COVID-19 positive case visited the Dorevitch Pathology inside the hospital from 9:05am to 9:50am on Friday August 6.
The venue has since been labelled a Tier 1 exposure site and anyone who was inside the building during that time has been told to immediately get a test and isolate for 14 days.
Anyone who visited the Maternity Assessment Centre on the same day from 8:15am to 2:45pm have also been told to quarantine for two weeks.
Cafe Bar near the main corridor of the hospital has been deemed a Tier 2 exposure site and customers must get tested and isolate until a negative result is received.
People who visited the hospital anytime on Friday August 6 from 8:15am to 2:45pm have been told to monitor for symptoms.
There are also concerns for a convenience store in the city's south-west where a case attended over four full days.
Customers who attended ZJWD Convenience Store from August 3 to August 6 between 12am to 11:59pm must immediately get tested and isolate until they receive a negative result and continue to monitor for symptoms.
