An aged care facility on the Victorian and NSW border is in lockdown after a staff member tested positive to COVID-19.
The person is the partner of someone who’s tested positive for COVID linked to the Shepparton outbreak in Victoria.
The case worked at the private facility on August 20, but it’s believed he was well at the time he worked and full vaccinated against the virus.
A majority of aged care residents at the facility have been vaccinated, but Victorian Health Minister Martin Foley is working with his federal counterpart to sort details.
