Canberra has recorded a number of new Covid-19 cases overnight as household transmission rises in the territory.
The ACT has reported nine new COVID-19 infections on Wednesday as Chief Minister Andrew Barr confirmed Canberra would not receive an early mark from lockdown.
The total number of active cases in the community is 176.
Of the cases, eight are linked to known cases and one case is under investigation.
Mr Barr confirmed a person was in a critical condition in hospital.
In total seven people are receiving treatment for the virus in hospital.
There are currently more than 400 exposure locations identified across the territory.
Household transmission was responsible for more than two in three of the new cases reported on Tuesday.
More to come.
