LATEST COVID-19 DEVELOPMENTS:
* NSW has recorded a new daily high of 633 new locally acquired COVID-19 cases with Premier Gladys Berejiklian warning "we haven't seen the worst of it".
* Three people died from the virus in NSW - an unvaccinated man in his late 60s and two men in their 70s, one fully vaccinated and the other had received one dose.
* Victorian authorities are racing to find the source of several mystery COVID-19 cases in Melbourne's southeast, as the state recorded 24 new infections.

AUSTRALIAN VACCINATION NUMBERS:
* There have been 15,892,260 doses administered in the national COVID-19 vaccination rollout up to Tuesday, including 273,869 in the previous 24 hours.
* Of the total, 9,286,938 have been administered by the Commonwealth (an increase of +174,346 in the previous 24 hours).
* 8,617,369 have been issued in primary care (+170,660) and 669,569 in aged and disability facilities (+3686).
* 6,605,322 have been administered by the states and territories, including 99,523 in the previous 24 hours.
AUSTRALIAN CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:
* Australia reported 679 local cases: 633 in NSW, 24 in Victoria and 22 in the ACT.
* Six overseas-acquired cases were reported in hotel quarantine: one in NSW, four in Queensland and one in Western Australia.
* The national death toll is 968: Victoria 820, NSW 114, Tasmania 13, WA 9, Queensland 7, SA 4, ACT 3. (Two Queensland residents who died in NSW have been included in the official tolls of both states).
