Four healthcare workers at two different Melbourne hospitals have tested positive to coronavirus on the day parts of the state go back into lockdown.
On Thursday, the health department confirmed there were 165 new cases of the virus in the state, bringing the total to 3098.

Of those, two healthcare workers at Sunshine Hospital’s emergency department tested positive.
Contact tracing is underway.
Close contacts will be required to quarantine for two weeks.
Two healthcare workers at the Royal Melbourne Hospital in Parkville also tested positive and contact tracing is happening there too.
It comes on the first day of a six-week lockdown of metropolitan Melbourne and the Mitchell Shire where Stage Three restrictions are in place.
Residents are only allowed to leave their homes for food and supplies, exercise, care-giving and work or education.
