Staff and students at the Bayanami Public School, in Parramatta, have been told to stay at home today due to a confirmed case of COVID-19.
"Bayanami Public School will not be open for on-site learning on Wednesday, 29 July 2020, after a member of the school community tested positive to COVID-19," a NSW Department of Education spokesperson said.
"The school is working closely with NSW Health to establish close contacts.
"Students will continue to be supported through existing learning from home arrangements while the school is thoroughly cleaned on Wednesday."
A new pop-up testing clinic will open in Sydney's eastern suburbs today following a confirmed case at The Cruising Yacht Club of Australia.
The CYCA, in Darling Point, closed its clubhouse yesterday after a member and their partner tested positive to COVID-19.
The venue is now the site of a testing clinic, expected to be flooded with people queuing for testing when it opens later this morning.
Cleaners in protective suits have been seen at the club early today, getting the site ready for its reopening.
Fitness First in Kings Cross was also closed this week for cleaning after a positive case went to a group gym class on Monday July 20.
Yesterday, NSW recorded 14 new cases of coronavirus cases.
Six are linked to the funerals cluster in Sydney's south-west, NSW Health said.
Four originated from the Thai Rock restaurant at Wetherill Park, and one is linked to the venue of the same name in Potts Point.
NSW Health has also warned anyone who went to Mounties in Mount Pritchard, in the city's south-west, to monitor for symptoms.
