QLD Health COVID exposure sites include Brisbane gyms, shopping centres and cafes - 7NEWS.com.au

Dozens of venues across Brisbane have been put on alert after two locally acquired cases of COVID were recorded in Queensland on Sunday.

The new cases are likely to have the Alpha strain of the virus, Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said on Sunday.

The venues on alert include gyms, restaurants and shopping centres across Brisbane.

People who attended the following venues are now considered close contacts and are advised to quarantine, get tested and wait for further advice from Queensland Health:

Cotton on, DFO Brisbane (Airport) on June 19 from 4.10pm-4.30pm

Brisbane Portuguese Family Centre, Ellen Grove on June 19 from 7pm to close

McDonald’s Glass House Mountains, Coochin Creek on June 22 from 5.45am-6am, Wednesday June 23 from 6am-6.15am

Good Life Gym Fortitude Valley on June 22 from 7.30am-9.45am

Miracle Worker massage & Holistic Therapies, West End on June 22 from 9.30am-5pm, Wednesday June 23 from 10am-5pm and Thursday June 24 from 12.15pm-5.30pm

Several other locations have been listed as low-risk exposure sites, however attendees are asked to monitor themselves for symptoms.
