Dozens of venues across Brisbane have been put on alert after two locally acquired cases of COVID were recorded in Queensland on Sunday.
The new cases are likely to have the Alpha strain of the virus, Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said on Sunday.
The venues on alert include gyms, restaurants and shopping centres across Brisbane.
People who attended the following venues are now considered close contacts and are advised to quarantine, get tested and wait for further advice from Queensland Health:
