Southwestern Sydney’s coronavirus cluster is rapidly spreading across the city with 21 businesses now reporting a confirmed coronavirus case.

NSW reported 13 new cases of coronavirus on Wednesday, with an expectation that number will grow on Thursday.

All but three of the cases have been linked to a COVID cluster south-western Sydney.

Several venues have been forced to close for cleaning after NSW health alerted them to the cases.

Health authorities said anyone who visited Planet Fitness, The Crossroads Hotel or the Picton Hotel on the dates listed should self isolate and take a coronavirus test - even if they aren’t showing symptoms.

“Even if you get a negative test, you must stay in isolation for 14 days,” NSW Health said in a statement.

This is because it can take 14 days before people show coronavirus symptoms or test positive.

For all other venues listed, NSW health says staff and visitors should watch for coronavirus symptoms.

Anyone who does develop COVID-19 symptoms should self isolate for 14 days and get tested.
