Victoria's three A-League teams are set to leave the state within the next 24 hours for the rest of the season, joining AFL and NRL clubs by heading north.
Melbourne Victory, Melbourne City and Western United are set to relocate to Sydney before Victoria's border with NSW closes at 11:59pm on Tuesday night due to the escalation of COVID-19 cases in Melbourne.
Football Federation Australia is set to announce the forced relocation on Monday, with the remainder of this season likely to be played in a NSW hub. There are 27 games remaining before the finals series.
More to come.
