Please can we as the public have a little more clarity as to which masks were researched?

The news is stating today that mask wearing is highly effective against the spread of Covid 19; however, little information is given regarding type of mask, fabric, surgical, homemade, etc. Also the mask is only as effective if its wearer is diligent with changing, washing, etc. We need more information please.
