Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews says the state is experiencing a “pandemic now of the unvaccinated” as it records 183 new local COVID cases with 82 still under investigation.
“I will give you an age breakdown which I know is always of interest and just confirms that this really is a pandemic now of the unvaccinated,” he said.
“Of the new cases today, 91 per cent are under 50.”
Mr Andrews said 216 of the cases were aged zero-nine, 232 were aged 10-19, 348 were in their 20s and 245 were in their 30s.
