COVID live updates: All Victoria's new coronavirus cases linked to current outbreak, recent case believed to have been infected at exposure site - ABC News

No new COVID cases in NSW

NSW recorded no new locally acquired cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm last night.

Three new cases were acquired overseas in the same period.

There were 17,593 tests in the last 24 hour reporting period.

28 people in New South Wales who have been deemed close contacts from affected venues in Victoria have tested negative to coronavirus.

Health authorities remain on high alert, saying people who've come from Victoria since May 12 need to check if they've been to any places of concern.

Those who arrived in NSW since 4:00pm yesterday need to self-isolate according to Victoria's seven day lockdown.

Dr Jeremy McAnulty from NSW Health said yesterday was a big day for the state delivery of vaccines.

"NSW health has administered its highest ever vaccines in one day giving 13,588 COVID-19 vaccines in the 24 hours to 8 o'clock last night, including 5,163 at the vaccine centre in Sydney Olympic Park," Dr McAnulty said.
