( MENAFN ) Based on local media reports issued on Thursday, the health officials are now probing the cause of the deaths of two men in the Australian state of New South Wales (NSW) who passed away days after getting COVID-19 vaccines.
Eight days after receiving a vaccine, a man in his 50s passed away in a hospital in northeast NSW on April 21, owing to a massive blood clot in his lungs. However, experts believed he had not had prior lung problems.
Local media 7NEWS reported that it has not been determined so far which kind of vaccine the 55-year-old had got.
"All reports to the TGA of death following vaccination are reviewed to assess the likelihood that the vaccine contributed to the event or medical condition that led to a fatal outcome," according to a statement released by the Therapeutic Drugs Administration (TGA) in response to the case.
