There is a new family COVID-19 cluster in Victoria as the state reaches another day of double-digit cases.
On Friday morning, it was confirmed there have been 13 new cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the state total to 1792.
Five of the cases are security guards at the Stamford Plaza Hotel where a contractor initially tested positive on Wednesday.

Another two cases are part of a family outbreak in Keilor Downs, but it is not believed to be linked to previous clusters in the area.
“There is one existing case and these are two close contacts of that case who were already in quarantine when they developed symptoms,” Victorian Deputy Chief Health Officer Annaliese van Diemen said.
Seven cases were found through community testing and one is a returned traveller in hotel quarantine.
One of the cases was reclassified.
Victoria has seen a spike in COVID-19 cases in the past few days with 18 cases recorded on Thursday and 21 on Wednesday.
On Thursday, one of the new cases was in a person who attended Melbourne’s Black Lives Matter protest, bringing that cluster to three.
Health authorities confirmed the protester, a man in his 20s, could have contracted the virus at the rally.
Another case was in a one-year-old child at the Guardian Childcare and Education in Prahran, which has been closed for a deep clean.
